The defining feature of a Net FX goaltender is that they are always in the right place at the right time. Our students make big saves look routine.
That is because the school teaches the most modern techniques in goaltending. Students can expect rigorous drills that focus on skating, positioning, rebound control/recovery and puck handling.
There is a maximum of six students on the ice at any time, working with a staff of two instructors and three shooters. The school’s experienced and mature instructors provide students with constant support and insight. Our shooters are picked exclusively from the Junior Hockey and Canadian Interuniversity Sports level.
Our clinics are run at the Minto Arena on Lancaster Road.

Net FX is a big believer that goaltenders, no matter how talented, can only go so far without proper off-ice training. That is why we operate an intense, dry land training program from late April to early September.
Drills will focus on giving students the tools they need to have explosive leg strength for a quick one-timer, cardio to withstand a 50-shot game, and foot speed for the quickest recovery. Students will train with tools like foot speed ladders, resistance parachutes, medicine balls and hurdles.
For more information on our dry land program, please contact us.
We look forward to assisting all of our students in their dedication and committment to becoming the best athletes they can be.

The Off-Ice program is open to athletes from all sports and not just goaltenders.
"My daughter has been training with NetFx for the past two seasons and has been part of the dryland program since it began last year.
Shawn and his staff offer a very positive learning enviromment both on and off the ice. My daughter’s skill level and her fitness has improved significantly and she has moved up a level. The program challenges the goalies both on and off the ice.
Shawn has taken the time to come and watch my daughter play on several occasions. He is always around to support her in whatever way he can.
The staff are well trained and the program is well organized. I recommend the NetFx program to any goalie who would like to improve their level of play and fitness."
"As a father and goalie dad we have witnessed Brandon's progression from novice hockey to a competitive level with the Net FX teaching method. The instruction includes repetition until the drill is completed in the method explained. Net FX instruction has enabled Brandon to compete at the highest level at his age group."
